Skeleton Key

Changelog

Release notes

What's new in Skeleton Key.

Highlights

  • Wiki: Every brand now has its own wiki: a persistent knowledge layer built from everything the brand puts into and gets out of Skeleton Key. It stays current as work lands, backs every claim with a named source, and powers other features like Chat.
  • Pages: Completed Brand Profile, Research, and Strategy outputs can now become interactive web pages: scrolling documents with navigation, charts, and citations intact. A guided builder sets the audience, depth, sections, and look, and finished pages live in a library with print and HTML download.
  • Wiki-grounded Chat: All Chat surfaces now answer from your brand's wiki with citations you can open, a scope selector covering all brand knowledge or a single campaign, and live progress while it searches and reads.
  • Rebuilt home page: The brand home now opens with a Now section: a live banner for running work, one clear next step, and tailored suggestions. Campaign rows carry clickable Research, Strategy, and Planning stages, and a filterable activity feed tracks recent work.
  • Organization home: Selecting your organization opens a dedicated home page showing the status and recent activity of every brand you can access, team activity for Owners and Admins with 30 and 90 day views, and an organization-wide feed of recent work.
  • LinkedIn connection: Organization Owners and Admins can connect LinkedIn from the new Integrations page for live B2B audience sizing. Personas in Audience Strategy report LinkedIn member totals, and Targeting Specs on the Media Plan adds LinkedIn segments when LinkedIn channels are in the mix.
  • Faster Research and Strategy: Both Research and Strategy now finish significantly faster than before, with the same or better output quality.

Improvements

  • Reorganized navigation: The sidebar now groups destinations into Brand, Campaign, Explore, Present, and Measurement sections, the Brand item is renamed Profile, and the Campaigns page now lives at /campaigns. Organization settings pages share one cleaner layout with simpler addresses; old links redirect.
  • Campaign type: Campaigns now declare B2B or B2C when created or edited, prefilled from an uploaded brief. B2B campaigns define and size personas in professional terms such as seniority, job function, industry, and company size.
  • Rebuilt Communication Strategy brief: The Communication Strategist now opens its brief with The Comms Task, a one-line statement of the job the campaign's communications must do, derives each persona's creative logic through a Problem, Insight, Edge, Strategy framework, and maps every persona to the pillars that apply to it.
  • LinkedIn reminders: When a B2B campaign is about to run without a working LinkedIn connection, a reminder with a connect link appears in the run panels for Strategy, the Media Plan, and the end-to-end chain.
  • Guided MMM data preparation: Column mapping in the MMM Center now detects date columns by their values, flags date formats the model can't read, shows the detected cadence, and offers plain-English help for every column role. The step is now called the data check.
  • Wiki claim editing: Team members with edit access can confirm a provisional claim, edit its text, or restore the original. An edited claim is labeled as a Team edit, and the change queues the page to refresh.
  • Refreshed Slides look: New decks in the default Skeleton Key style pick up a refreshed light and dark palette shared with Pages.

Bug fixes

  • Opening a generated page or deck and returning to the app no longer resets which brand and organization you had selected.
  • Documentation search results now open the right page instead of a missing-page error.
  • Brand Maps lineages and the chat context picker no longer list pages, decks, or MMM runs they cannot use.
  • The Media Plan always shows the latest saved version of a plan after saving.
  • Campaign date ranges on the home page no longer display one month early in some timezones.
  • The home page no longer goes blank when a refresh fails; the last loaded view stays on screen with a retry option.
